Cervical cancer is the 2nd most common cancer among Malaysian women, and yet not many know about the disease. An integrated communication campaign called Tell Someone was launched in 2007 through different channels to educate women about cervical cancer and other HPV-related diseases. Using fashion, female camaraderie and other relevant ways to pique and capture the interest of the target audience, the campaign succeeded in spreading the message of the potentially deadly disease to women in Malaysia. Tell Someone won the Gold Campaign of the Year Award in the Malaysian PR Awards 2007.
